Missions: We serve MISSIOANLLY throughout the year in many areas. We can do so in our communities, our city, our state, and beyond. GO and tell (Matthew 28), tell everyone about Jesus Christ our Lord, our Savior, our Redeemer! It starts at home and extends throughout the world to reach the lost! We are all partakers in The “Great Commission” as born-again Christians!

Ministry Opportunities: We have many ministries in need, and of leaders and volunteers, including Children and Youth, Senior citizens, welcome center, lawn mowing, ushers, women’s fellowship, men’s fellowship, and more. In serving, we help in many ways. In doing so, it helps us. It helps us grow personally and spiritually as the Holy Spirit teaches and guides us.

KBA, KBA, KBA....Vbs, vbs, vbs.....

kba.....we go to camp monday, june 15. all PAPERWORK is due on or before we board the bus monday at 1:00 PM!

VBS....start planning today to join us at vbs!! It will begin on sunday, 28 through July 1st. registration begins on sunday at 5:30. Each day will begin at 5:30 with a meal and continue until 8:30 with an educational fun-filled evening of lessons, crafts, activities, music, and fun, fun, fun!! It will conclude wednesday with family night! Tell your friends and family to come join the fun for everyone!! More information on our VBS page!

Dear friends,

as we continue into the month of june and a new week, let's remember where our hope, strength, peace, and love, comes from, jesus christ. Join us in worship as we continue through matthew chapter 18. We last looked at how we must come to god with a child-like faith to be great in his kingdom, and how we are to be treated and treat others in god's kingdom. This week, we look at the discipline of god's children. Discipline is necessary in our lives as christians and also in the church.

There is absolutely nothing on earth more valuable than coming together to worsip our lord, our savior, jesus christ with a group of fellow believers as we shout up praises, pray corporately, and worship together as we open god's holy word! we invite you to come join us and actively take part in Jesus' church!!

The applications for this week from the message #1, jesus is our savior and he must be the lord of our entire lives. #2, we must maintain proper relationships with god, and with his body of believers, the new testament church!! let's also be very active in the church while living a life of humility, the theme that travels through the entire chapter of matthew 18!

Weekly Devotion

THE “HANDY” PRAYER GUIDE

1. YOUR THUMB IS NEAREST YOU. SO, BEGIN YOUR PRAYERS BY PRAYING FOR THOSE CLOSEST TO YOU. THEY ARE THE EASIEST TO REMEMBER. TO PRAY FOR OUR LOVED ONES IS, AS C. S. LEWIS ONCE SAID, A 'SWEET DUTY.'

2. THE NEXT FINGER IS THE POINTING FINGER. PRAY FOR THOSE WHO TEACH, INSTRUCT AND HEAL. THIS INCLUDES TEACHERS, DOCTORS, AND MINISTERS. THEY NEED SUPPORT AND WISDOM IN POINTING OTHERS IN THE RIGHT DIRECTION. KEEP THEM IN YOUR PRAYERS.

3. THE NEXT FINGER IS THE TALLEST FINGER. IT REMINDS US OF OUR LEADERS. PRAY FOR THE PRESIDENT, LEADERS IN BUSINESS AND INDUSTRY, AND ADMINISTRATORS. THESE PEOPLE SHAPE OUR NATION AND GUIDE PUBLIC OPINION. THEY NEED GOD'S GUIDANCE.

4. THE FOURTH FINGER IS OUR RING FINGER. SURPRISING TO MANY IS THE FACT THAT THIS IS OUR WEAKEST FINGER, AS ANY PIANO TEACHER WILL TESTIFY. IT SHOULD REMIND US TO PRAY FOR THOSE WHO ARE WEAK, IN TROUBLE OR IN PAIN. THEY NEED YOUR PRAYERS DAY AND NIGHT. YOU CANNOT PRAY TOO MUCH FOR THEM.

5. AND LASTLY COMES OUR LITTLE FINGER - THE SMALLEST FINGER OF ALL WHICH IS WHERE WE SHOULD PLACE OURSELVES IN RELATION TO GOD AND OTHERS. AS THE BIBLE SAYS, 'THE LEAST SHALL BE THE GREATEST AMONG YOU.' YOUR PINKIE SHOULD REMIND YOU TO PRAY FOR YOURSELF. BY THE TIME YOU HAVE PRAYED FOR THE OTHER FOUR GROUPS, YOUR OWN NEEDS WILL BE PUT INTO PROPER PERSPECTIVE AND YOU WILL BE ABLE TO PRAY FOR YOURSELF MORE EFFECTIVELY.

This week we pray for our Adult and Children ministry programs, pray that additional teachers will come forward for our children, kba, vbs, and youth classes, let's pray for KBA, Brother Joe and Yvette, Kaitlin Woodruff, Kathy, Randy, Doris, Neicy, Sandra, Kenny and Kathy Schiwart, Destiny Matthews, Joe and Elaine, Katherine Lewis, Lonnie Cox, and Mattie. Join us in prayer for Calvary and our community as we take part in the Great Commission of sharing Jesus Christ to a world that desperately needs to hear it.
